I’m not a doctor, and my opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it, but my youngest daughter hung around the bottom percentile of height and weight for a long time. She’s 13 now and perfectly healthy. Wishing the best for you and your family.
Si heureux de te revoir Redd! You've been missed, tu m'as manquer terriblement! I really hope your health recovers and will be praying for you in the days to come.
Children are like a hurricane, they completely change your life. I understand that you're short on time, my friend. On top of that, you're dealing with an illness that's really tough to beat. I have a friend who had the same problem and managed to get some results by making some big changes to his diet. Writing is important, but don't rush it. The ideas will come back stronger than before, so give your brain time to adjust. Give your body time to regain balance and heal itself. And don't forget to enjoy your daughter. If you can't write the way you want to, then read. You'll see so your creative vein won't dry up.
Very true, I have been more concious of time and making sure to enjoy it all even when it's hard. The rest has helped and focussing on Zoe has meant when I sit down to write there is much more condensed work, though I write less it feels richer, though whether that's true is up for readers to decide, haha.
Congratulations on the birth of your little girl, good sir. She's lovely, and I'm glad she's doing well.
I also sympathize with the chronic pain. While not from the same thing and certainly not to the same degree, I've got my own host of musculoskeletal issues in my neck and shoulders that cause me to be in at least mild pain about 70% of the day. As you say, it's exhausting and distracting, getting in the way of all sorts of things. I hope you'll be able to get the chrons under control soon, that you can enjoy as much of the coming years with your daughter as possible.
I'm sorry to hear of your own issues and offer my prayers to you. Me too, currently I am in an okay state but the nature of it means a single misstep can cause an issue so I am savouring this time as much as I can.

Thank you, it is always good to hear from other parents on such things, especially as a new parent. All the best to you and yours too.
Big congratulations on the new baby, my brother! As far as the sickness is concerned, you have my prayers and sympathies 🙏
Thank you so much! 😁

Hugs and good thoughts always.
