Such an interesting take! It’s funny how I was nodding along to the points made by the characters as I read this on my smartphone πŸ˜‚.

Also, the digital world not being real or having any lasting impact is so fascinating to me! I recently heard a podcast talking about how if our society was wiped out, there would be little information to share since digital information is not only fragile, but ages extremely quickly! We should carve some stories into a massive rock.

Thank you! Haha, the screens we serve are not going to be left behind anytime soon but maybe our use of them will diminish.

Yup, pretty odd that we have this digital Library of Alexandria that a freak solar flare, a mass power outage, or simply a bottleneck of fresh harddrives could "burn" it all down. Those monks making copies of copies of copies for hundreds of years of 1000+ year old books might have been onto something. πŸ˜‚

This is my one contention with the pastoral lifeβ€”I also used my smartphone to read this. And I would be devastated if I had to start reading only paper again. I want to be connected to my life, but I want to be connected to all my favorite writers too!
