I like the formatting with this, the whole thing is spooky. Laurence is mysterious to me because I can't tell if he used to be normal or if his mere presence is a sign of madness.

Laurence was a mystery to me too, he took on a life of his own when writing which I'm quite pleased with. Of all the One Shots thus far this is the one I'd like to delve deeper into.
