Mori leapt from the ship and onto the jetty. His uchigatana flew out of its scabbard in a fluid movement as he ran towards the Oni and samurai fighting on the dockside road. Sada’s sailors had jumped with him but only to aid the ship in mooring. The sailors on the ship wanted to carry on to another trading port but Sada wasn’t having it. His contacts where in Osaka, buyers and sellers.

Dozens of Oni hissed and rampaged along the dock road. Flames licked up the walls of warehouses. Dead traders lay in the dirt with faces half chewed. Armoured warriors stood firm in a yari wall at one end directed by a samurai to march forward, stab, move, stab, move corralling the Oni together. To the other end were warriors hacking and dismembering demons as best they could without the yokai powers granted to Mori. A severed hand crawled along the ground and held onto a warriors ankle pulling him off balance while four Oni ashigaru skewer…
