I've enjoyed Forlorn Hope. Still not sure where I'd rank it among your serials I've read, though I've only completed three so far.
Speaking of fantasy novels, I can relate with your fantasy novel problems. I just finished the first draft for my own Book 1 (currently being serialized), and the whole thing turned out to be longer what I had envisioned, took longer to write too. For Book 2, I think I might have to finish the whole draft first before actually serializing it.
As for the illustrations, I did notice how a lot of the chapters in this one have thumbnails that's just your newsletter logo, which is a contrast to your previous serials. Not saying it's good or bad, just an observation.
I think for novels I'm in the same camp, finish it before posting. The only way I think I would write a novel while posting it is if a novella became a novel in the writing.
Yes and I would rather there be a thumbnail for every chapter rather than just some. The illustration draws the whole thing together and makes each story easily identifiable so I need something even if it is basic.
Thanks for reading and glad you enjoyed Forlorn Hope!

Thanks for writing and sharing that Forlorn Hope - you certainly hit the mark. I’m intrigued by A Droids Tale - bring it on!
Thank you, that's wonderful to hear! I hope A Droid's Tale strikes the same mark.
