Loved this phrase… “near a nameless river” because when you’re out in the wilderness aren’t most rivers and other things nameless. Don’t know why just liked that.

I love a good map and when making/looking at one most things end up named but really without a guide most characters/people wouldn't know much beyond their immediate locale so further afield becomes wilderness that really is wild, untamed, and unnamed, even if the landscape hasn't changed much.
